The driver of the car collided … with a wild boar

The driver of the car collided … with a wild boar, moving along the Larisa-Athens highway.

According to onlarissa.gr, the traffic accident happened around 22:00 on the Larisa-Athens highway, shortly after the road toll points (diodia) in Moskhohori. Picking up speed, the car suddenly saw wild boars that jumped out on the road, which he could not bypass.

As reported, the car suffered material damage, and the driver is healthy. There is no word on what happened to the wild animals that ended up on the highway.

Recall that accidents with wild boars in Greece happen regularly, and some of them end in tragedy. Ecologists and wildlife advocates are sounding the alarm. However, “things are still there.”

As Athenskiye Novosti wrote earlier, a collision between a car and wild boars on the Tempi highway almost cost the driver his life. The man behind the wheel survived, thanks to pure chance, when suddenly there was a herd of wild boars in front of him, and he did not even have time to apply the brakes to avoid a collision! A traffic accident was recorded in PAΘΕ, at the height of the tunnels in Tempi. According to information, everything happened around 02:00 am, when the driver of the car, moving along the highway, noticed a herd of 4-5 wild boars in front of him. Despite his best efforts, he could not avoid a collision. An EKAB ambulance arrived at the scene. The man received minor injuries and was taken to the Larisa General Hospital.
