Traditional commemorative events dedicated to the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany were canceled in some Russian cities for security reasons, but took place in a number of others, including European cities.
However, in Greece, the same took place “March of the Immortal Regiment”, which passed, albeit with a significantly reduced number of participants.

The procession gathered about 200 people, then the column split into two – part went to the American embassy, part moved forward to lay flowers at the monument to the victims of fascism. Ahead of the column was a platoon of police special forces, the approaches to the American diplomatic mission were blocked by police buses.
