Alternative routes to Greece for Russians

Russian tour operators offer citizens of the Russian Federation “bypass” routes for traveling to “sanctioned” Europe – even in the absence of direct flights, you can still get to Greece at quite affordable prices.

Russian tour operators are expanding the network of alternative routes to Greece. Blocks of seats on Aegean Airlines flights via Yerevan to Thessaloniki and Rhodes were purchased by the tour operator PAC Group. ATOR experts clarifythat the blocks were taken on the routes Yerevan-Thessaloniki-Yerevan and Yerevan-Rhodes-Yerevan:

“A flight to Yerevan is not included in the tour package, tourists buy it in addition.”

The block program from Yerevan to Thessaloniki starts on June 15 and will last until September 14. Departures twice a week, on Thursday and Sunday. The first flight to Rhodes will depart from Yerevan on July 5. During the period of the block program, calculated until August 30, 12 flights will be performed.

The prospects for the program, the tour operator notes, are quite positive. Even with an additional ticket to Yerevan, the prices are reasonable.
