Evros fence as a tourist attraction

A fence along the Evros border, preventing migrants from entering Greece illegally from Turkey, has begun to attract tourists. Greeks and foreigners show great interest in this “object”, and travel agencies ask for a tour there.

Travel agents in Athens, as well as offices organizing excursions in the northeast of Greece, have informed their partners in the Evros region that there is an ever-increasing interest from Greeks and foreigners who intend to come to the prefecture in groups to visit the fence in the Thera area.
