Severe weather warning

Rain, storms and showers are expected in the coming hours, the National Weather Service warns.

An emergency weather forecast for Easter Sunday said that worsening weather is expected in the west and in some areas in the north of the country. The bad weather will last from today Sunday until noon Monday, with heavy rain and storms, temporary increased winds and possible hail.

Bad weather is predicted:

• Today from noon in Ionia, Epirus and western Sterea. At night, the phenomena in Epirus and the western Steria will weaken.
• Tomorrowon Easter Monday, before noon in the Ionian Sea, in the western Peloponnese and in places in western Sterea, in central and eastern Macedonia.
