Weather for Easter – where it will be rainy

Clearchos Marousakis spoke about the weather for Easter, promising better weather conditions after Good Friday.

The meteorologist predicts writes CNN Greece that the weather will be rainy in many parts of the country until Maundy Thursday. But after Good Friday, it will improve, so on Saturday and Easter we will have good weather.

Until Holy Thursday in the north of the country and in the central mainland of Greece, rains and thunderstorms are expected, the thermometers will not rise above 17 ° C. Snow is expected in the mountains of the central part of Northern Greece at an altitude of more than 1200 meters.

Most of the rains will take place in the center and in the north of the mainland, and on the Ionian Islands, in the western, central and northern parts, that is, in Epirus, western Sterea, in the west of the Peloponnese, in Thessaly, Macedonia and Thrace. Mr. Marousakis assumes that it will rain again in these areas on Easter Sunday and Monday without causing any problems. The weather, according to a well-known meteorologist, will improve from Friday:

“Easter excursions will take place under good weather conditions, the weather will improve, and the temperature will rise to 22 ° C, especially in the central and southern regions of the country. On Good Saturday, Easter Sunday and Monday the weather will be relatively mild, but it is possible that in the afternoon and afternoon in the continental areas there will be light rain – while this picture is not clear.

However, emphasizes Mr. Marousakis, chances are good that we won’t have too many problems on Easter Sunday and Monday.

In Athens, the meteorologist predicts, there will be rain until Holy Wednesday. As in the rest of the country, the weather will improve on Thursday and Friday, and it looks like there will be no problems on Saturday, Easter Sunday and Monday.
