When 52 schoolchildren returned from an excursion, the bus in which they were traveling caught fire.
Pupils of the 1st secondary school of Pefka went on an excursion to Kerkyra. On the way back, shortly after the exit from the Egnatija road to Metsovo, a fire broke out in the bus.
edition grtimes published video showing thick smoke puffs as schoolchildren hurriedly leave the bus. Fortunately, the bus driver quickly reacted to the fire and stopped the vehicle.
The students were not injured, but firefighters quickly arrived to put out the fire.
