After recent snowfalls and combined with the weather forecast for the entire Holy Week, the ski centers of Parnassus and Velouchi remain open for Easter as there is a significant amount of snow on their slopes.
Ski Center “Parnassus” encourages visitors who intend to come to call in advance and find out about availability and weather forecast in the mountains. According to lamiareport, today, on Holy Monday, Κελάρια, located at an altitude of 1750 and 1950 meters, were opened.
At the lowest altitudes, Maundy Monday air temperature showed a significant decrease in many parts of the Central Greek region, with the lowest value recorded (except for Χιονοδρομικών) in Voutiros-Karpenisiou and Miriki-Karpenisiou, where it fell to 1.9-2°С (in the morning).
