Two foreigners are arrested in Romania and Ireland for stealing expensive watches in Greece.
They are identified by the Department for Crimes against the property of the Attician Security Management (τμήμα εγκλημάτων Δίωival κατά ιδιοκτησίας διεύθυνσης ασφαλείας ατικής), as persons who committed theft of luxurious watches.
They turned out to be 46-year-old and 42-year-old men who stole high value watches from jewelry stores in the center of Athens. Their criminal activities also extended to stores in other European countries.
The men were issued national warrants of arrest, which, after appropriate procedures, were converted by the Athenian Prosecutor’s Office of Appeal into European warrants. Thanks to international police cooperation, they were able to identify and arrest them.
ΕΛ.ΑΣ. demanded the extradition of criminals, all necessary actions for this are currently being carried out, informs CNN Greece.
