Roma pretended to be an accountant and “robbed the skin” of an old woman

Under the pretext of a tax refund, a 30-year-old gypsy posing as an accountant managed to fraudulently obtain 15,000 euros from an elderly woman.

The man in question was arrested by the police from the Kalamata department with the assistance of the police from the Zefirio department (Attica). He convinced the 86-year-old woman that she was entitled to some amount – a refund from the tax office.

As a result, he persuaded an elderly woman to get into his car so that they would drive together to her house. There, the fraudster managed to extract from the victim an amount of 15,000 euros. After an investigation by the authorities, the man was located and arrested.
