Riots at the Hellenic Train: tear gas against demonstrators

Currently on Singrou Avenue, in front of the Hellenic Train company, owned by Italy and successor to osefor her responsibility in the Tempi tragedy, there are clashes between police and demonstrators.

The protesters, clearly dominated by anarchists, threw stones at the windows of the company, in response, the police used tear gas.

Previously outside the Hellenic Train headquarters.

Collectives and student associations raised banners with the slogans “killers” and “privatization kills”, followed by a protest march to parliament. Special police units of the MAT arrived at the demonstration site.

After the demonstrators left, the anarchists and hooligans who joined them set fire to garbage cans and threw stones at the police. MAT officers responded with tear gas.
