The Japanese are delighted with Greek garlic

The Japanese concern “Wakunaga Pharmaceutical” showed interest in the garlic growing in Platikampos (Larisa).

According to SKAI, the way for investment has been opened thanks to the University of Thessaly and Prof. Dimitris Kouretas, who analyzed health benefits of garlic, as well as comparative studies with other varieties of garlic in the world. The history of the Japanese company “Wakunaga” began several decades ago. Its principles were based on the postulate: “pharmaceutical companies that produce dietary supplements should be engaged in research and development of products that improve and maintain good health.”
