"skillful hands": cosmetologists injected Botox right in … a nail salon

The President of the Medical Association of Patras, Anna Mastoraku, who spoke on the MEGA channel, is indignant: supposedly cosmetologists injected Botox to their clients (read – victims) even … at home and in nail salons.

Complaints are on the rise from women who have had beauty injections and are left disfigured. Anna Mastoraku spoke on the MEGA channel about complaints and cosmetic procedures that disfigure a woman’s face: “These cosmetic interventions (operations, procedures) must certainly be carried out only by doctors who have the necessary certificationV locations licensed by the medical association. Besides material used must be certified so that in the event of a side effect, the doctor knows what to do.” From what was said on the program, even the “nail salons” offered Botox services.

Ms. Mastoraku added that to them (to the Medical Association) received a complaint from 10 Patras doctors, dermatologists and plastic surgeons. The statement says that beauty centers carry out such operations without having any doctors, no license, and even without certification of the material.

“After the client is mutilated, she goes to the doctor, who has to literally save the one who turned to him for help. In some cases, women had an irreversible situation. They lost their beauty because of the trip to the “konoval”.

For this reason, wecity doctors) decided to intervene in order to carry out supervision in cooperation with the regional authorities. It is necessary once and for all to put things in order in the sphere of “beauty services”, because the problem has reached uncontrollable proportions,” the text of the appeal says.

Ms. Mastoraku fully agrees with the doctors: “underground Botox injections” must stop immediately.

“Beauty salons are prohibited from conducting such medical operations. This is the business of doctors, certified specialists who know how to carry out such procedures. Then the effect will be appropriate,” Mrs. Mastoraku concluded.

Recall that in Kifissia, one such, if I may say “center”, is not only disfigured his clients, but also misled (injecting saline instead of a drug), and also emptied wallets.
