U.S. claims complicate UFO downing case: ‘We can’t recover wreckage’

A White House spokesman said the U.S. currently has “no indication” that the three recently shot down flying objects in North America were of Chinese origin or were used for espionage purposes, but said it was trying to to hide the fact that it is now very difficult to extract the wreckage.

The three “objects” could be “commercial or scientific peaceful balloons,” John Kirby, a spokesman for the National Security Council, said on the situation, as at the same time he states that the fighters were tracking what they shot down.
