The EU began to actively put pressure on Greece, Cyprus and 3 other European countries that do not recognize Kosovo

Representative EU on the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak held a meeting with representatives of five EU countries that did not recognize Kosovo.

He wants to convince them to take such a step soon. It is obvious that such a meeting should also put additional pressure on Belgrade and show that, they say, you have no allies in the EU in this matter, believes Herald of Serbia.

However, Spain, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Cyprus do not want to make concessions and support the territorial integrity of Serbia.

  • Spain has a problem with Catalonia and Basque Land
  • Cyprus is already half occupied by Turkey and understands what threatens it with the recognition of the pro-Turkish Kosovo.
  • The Hungarians are looking to the south of Slovakia.
  • As well as the areas of compact residence of Hungarians in Romania
  • Greece has problems with Turkey and Albania over ethnic minorities and, accordingly, the territories of Epirus and some of the islands.

These countries, unlike Brussels, Paris and Berlin, cannot afford to support the separatists, as they will immediately get problems in their regions. But this does not mean that the EU will not continue to put pressure on them.

Vucic: My goal is to save Serbia

“Let’s get out of these soap bubbles of illusions that we are self-sufficient in the world and do not see what is happening around us. We must understand what is our strength and what is their strength. Let me remind you that Milosevic believed that not a single bomb would fall on Serbia because of Kosovo and Metohija. He thought that the bombs would not fall, and then it took him a couple of days to realize that a lot of bombs were falling. I was elected president because 60% of women voted for me when I promised to keep peace and stability. My goal is to save the citizens of Serbia and the state of Serbia,” the President stressed. Vučić also reiterated that he does not want “children to return in coffins.”

The decision on the Kosovo proposal, or rather on the ultimatum put forward by the West, will be taken by the competent authorities and departments of the Republic of Serbia, the channel peeps BS. To discuss the current situation (by no means simple), more than one meeting will be convened with the participation of high-ranking officials, the author of the telegram channel believes. And ordinary Serbs on social networks, meanwhile, have already launched a campaign under the hashtag “Declare an occupation.” The goal is simple: to make the authorities understand that they do not agree to the surrender of Kosovo and Metohija.

Such graffiti also appeared on the streets of Serbian cities at night.
