The explosion of a gas cylinder destroyed a store on Aharnon Street

One person living on the 4th floor was trapped because of the fire on the stairs. Firefighters had to use a ladder to get him off the balcony. There are no others stuck or injured.

The explosion reportedly sent the entrails and merchandise from the store flying outside, and shards of broken glass from a display case flew 50 meters from the building.

In January of this year, there was a gas cylinder explosion, which also blew an antiques store to smithereens. The owner of the store and the culprit of the incident suffered only minor injuries.
