A sharp deterioration in the weather with heavy rains, which will be accompanied by intense thunderstorms, and in some places hail and gale-force winds, is forecast from Monday May 6 to Friday May 10. Bad weather will affect mainland Greece.
Unfavorable weather phenomena will manifest themselves mainly in the midday and afternoon hours.

Today, on Monday (06.06), in central and eastern Macedonia and Thrace, heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected from noon to evening. Similar phenomena will occur in some places in Thessaly, central and eastern Sterea, central and eastern Peloponnese from noon to noon.
Tomorrow, on Tuesday (7.6), the manifestation of bad weather will be slightly reduced. The storm front will cover Macedonia from the afternoon hours, and then, from noon, it will move to Thessaly, covering the region of the western and central Sterea, as well as the western and central Peloponnese. By evening, the weather is expected to ease.
Wednesday (8/6) heavy rains and thunderstorms are predicted from noon to night in Macedonia, Thessaly, Epirus and Sterea.
Unstable weather with heavy rains and thunderstorms will continue Thursday (06.09) in Macedonia and Thrace.
Friday (October 6) heavy rains and thunderstorms are forecast for the mainland, the Sporades, the northeast Aegean and possibly northern Evia. Intense adverse weather conditions will end over the weekend.

A (local) gale is expected this afternoon (Monday 6.6) with little chance of storms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
