Subsidy up to 300 euros for holidays

The government provides financial support of up to 300 euros to everyone who chooses to relax in the affected areas of Northern Evia and Samos.

With an amendment to a bill submitted to Parliament, the government aims to provide incentives and increase tourism to the affected islands and areas. dikaiologitika.gr.

Pursuant to this amendment:

1. Financial assistance for 2022 is provided by the national part of the State Investment Program of the Ministry of Digital Government to each adult natural person, for the development of domestic tourism and Northern Evia, affected by the earthquake on October 3, 2020 and related fires in 2021.

2. Beneficiaries are all natural persons of legal age who are tax residents of Greece on the basis of their most recent tax return. For married persons who have entered into a cohabitation agreement, the beneficiary is required to file an income tax return.

3. Beneficiaries:

a) adult children of the beneficiary who are declared dependent members on the 2020 personal income tax return;
b) the spouse of the beneficiary, the person who has concluded a cohabitation agreement with him. In the case of children of spouses, of whom both are beneficiaries (see paragraph 2), one is deemed to be the beneficiary of the other on application.

4. The following do not become beneficiaries:

a) Those who are selected as beneficiaries are the beneficiaries of the Social Tourism Framework Program for the period 2021-2022. Employment organizations, those who are selected as beneficiaries of the social tourism program of the State Employment Service for the period 2022-2023, regardless of whether the benefits were used or not.
b) Those selected as beneficiaries receive a similar benefit from any other institution during the same period of time.

5. The financial support is three hundred euros for the municipalities of East and West Samos, and one hundred and fifty euros for the municipalities of Istiaia Edipsos and Lake Mantoudi Agia Anna.
