Detained Russian neo-Nazis who planned the murder of TV presenter Solovyov

The FSB announced the prevention of the murder of the famous Russian TV journalist Vladimir Solovyov, and a group of neo-Nazis was detained.

According to the FSB of Russia, as reported TASSthe detainees give confessions:

“The Federal Security Service, together with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, detained a group of members of the neo-Nazi terrorist organization National Socialism/White Power, banned in Russia (National Socialism / White Power, Power”) – Russian citizens who planned, on the instructions of the Security Service of Ukraine, the murder of a public figure, a well-known journalist Vladimir Solovyov”.

According to the publication, referring to information received today at the Center for Public Relations of the Federal Security Service of Russia, “members of the criminal group give confessions about the preparation of the murder of V. Solovyov, after which they planned to hide abroad.”

During the searches at the addresses of residence of the detained members of the neo-Nazi group, reports “Gazeta.ru”withdrawn:

• improvised explosive device;
• eight improvised incendiary devices similar to Molotov cocktails;
• six PM pistols;
• sawn-off shotgun;
• grenade RGD-5;
• more than a thousand rounds of various calibers;
• drugs;
• fake Ukrainian passports with photos of the group members;
• nationalist literature and paraphernalia.

The FSB says:

“As part of the criminal case initiated by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, the collection of evidence of the criminal activities of the detainees continues.”

Speaking at the Board of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said:

“This morning, the Federal Security Service stopped the activities of a terrorist group that planned the attack and murder of a well-known Russian TV journalist.”

The attack was prepared by Russian citizens, members of the banned in the Russian Federation neo-Nazi terrorist organization National Socialism / White Power (“National Socialism / White Power, Power”).

The international neo-Nazi organization National Socialism / White Power has been recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia, its activities are prohibited in the country, the publication wrote earlier.
