15-year-old YouTube and Instagram star dies of illness "Benjamin Button"

Antalya Rose, the YouTube and Instagram star who suffered from Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome, also known as “Benjamin Button”, after the famous film character, has died at the age of 15. She was diagnosed with a very rare disease when she was only three months old.

“On January 12, 2022 at 7:00 pm, Antalya Rose Williams passed away from this world,” the caption posted after the news of her death on her social media accounts reads, and continues: “She quietly entered it and quietly left, but her life was far from it. “It doesn’t hurt anymore and now she’s dancing to the music she loves,” the auto text continued. “I wish it wasn’t our reality, but unfortunately it is.”

“We want to thank everyone who loved and supported her. We thank all her doctors and nurses who worked for years to keep her healthy. “The family would now like to mourn this huge loss,” the statement said.

Hutchinson-Gilford syndrome is a rare, fatal childhood genetic disorder with characteristics that mimic premature aging, scientists say. It is estimated that there are only about 400 children in the world who live to old age with this disease.

Her fans and designer Michael Costello said goodbye to her

Tens of thousands of fans and supporters have expressed their condolences to the Williams family, including designer Michael Costello, who designed a pair of bespoke dresses for the teenage girl in honor of her 13th birthday in 2019.

“My heart is broken,” wrote the author in the caption to the Instagram post. “I can’t find words and I can’t stop crying. She was so special to every person she met. “She was an angel,” Costello added.
