A total of 44 violations by Turkish aircraft and 21 air traffic violations in the Athens FIR. At the same time, six fighters were armed, and in three cases virtual air battles were observed, when Greek pilots pursued armed Turkish aircraft.
F-16s moved in nine groups over the Central, Northeastern and Southeastern Aegean Seas. They were all identified and intercepted, in accordance with international rules and established practice, ΓΕΕΘΑ reported.
