Archery in Norway – 5 casualties, shooter detained

In the Norwegian city of Kungsberg, 70 km from Oslo, a man killed five citizens with a bow and wounded two more. The offender is detained. The first details are revealed.

“A 37-year-old man was detained and charged after five people were killed and two wounded in downtown Kongsberg on Wednesday evening.”

The tragic events took place last night when an unknown man started shooting from a bow in various public places. He acted alone, the police do not rule out the version of the terrorist attack. As a result of his actions, 5 people were killed, two, including a plain-clothes policeman, were injured.

Law enforcement officers evacuated residents of the western part of the town, after 30-40 minutes the criminal was arrested. Details of his identity have not yet been disclosed. Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway, stated that the police are in control of the situation in Kungsberg:
