The tragic end of the search for 29-year-old Violet from France. A girl who went missing a week ago, who was traveling alone in Crete, was found dead on Thursday afternoon.
According to ERT, the body of the unfortunate woman was found in a gorge near Cape Krios, southwest of Chania. A medical examiner arrived at the scene and made the first assessment of the causes of her death.
On Wednesday, a GPS and a suitcase were found in her car, and according to a man who last saw her in the early morning of June 24 in Aries, she was driving along the European road E4, which ends at Elafonisi.
According to the message creta24 , it was the parents of the 29-year-old girl who notified the French Foreign Ministry, since their daughter had not contacted them since June 24, and on June 28 she was supposed to return to her homeland.

The search for a 29-year-old French nurses from the University of Nantes hospital continued for 4 days, on land, by helicopter, and at sea. The search operation was attended by the police, fire brigade and volunteers.
