Surkov believes that Ukraine must be returned by force

Vladislav Surkov, who was an aide to the President of Russia until February 2020, called for the return of Ukraine by force.

According to the Telegram channel WarGonzo, he did not specify what power he had in mind, presenting several options:

“Of course, by force. By force! The strength is different, not only military. There is also the power of the special services, it is different. There is a force, the so-called soft, the notorious term, but it also exists. There is a power of economic influence, political influence ”.

Surkov is convinced that Russia is winning the international situation, noting that the world “is really tired of Ukraine.”

When he was assistant to the President of Russia, from September 2013 to February 2020, Surkov oversaw the issues of socio-economic cooperation with South Ossetia and Abkhazia, the settlement of the East Ukrainian conflict. After his resignation, explaining its reasons, he stated that the reason was a “change of context” in relations between Russia and Ukraine.
