A whole crowd came to say goodbye to the archimandrite

The authorities were concerned about the images of the crowd at the funeral of Archimandrite Sarantis, held in Agios Stefanos.

In the Sacred Monastery Ιερά Μονή Κοινοβιάρχου, too many parishioners came to say goodbye and see off on their last journey a priest from the Kifissian diocese, who served for many decades in the Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos in Marusya.

Let us remind you that according to the current restrictions, from 9 to 25 people are allowed to attend funerals in metropolitan areas.

The performance of services, divine services, rituals, sacraments and all types of religious ceremonies is carried out exclusively by religious officials and the necessary support personnel, without the presence of other individuals. Religious ceremonies such as weddings, baptisms, funerals, funerals (μνημόσυνα) are allowed only for religious ministers, the required staff and up to nine people.
