A whole crowd came to say goodbye to the archimandrite

The authorities were concerned about the images of the crowd at the funeral of Archimandrite Sarantis, held in Agios Stefanos.

In the Sacred Monastery Ιερά Μονή Κοινοβιάρχου, too many parishioners came to say goodbye and see off on their last journey a priest from the Kifissian diocese, who served for many decades in the Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos in Marusya.

For the last time, men, women and children came to say goodbye to the holy father with open faces, without masks. As can be seen from the photo report of Intime News, no measures of protection against coronavirus were observed. Let us remind you that according to the current restrictions, from 9 to 25 people are allowed to attend funerals in metropolitan areas.
