An administrative worker who runs the Gennimatas Hospital in Thessaloniki resigns following allegations of sexual harassment.
The dismissal was requested and signed, according to information, by the Minister of Health Thanos Pleuris following a complaint about the inappropriate behavior of the said person.
In a written complaint to the competent services, the deputy director of the hospital in Thessaloniki complains to the director of the hospital about “sexist behavior” and sexual harassment.
Reportedly, the response from the Ministry of Health was immediate, since, according to News4Health, T. Pleuris demanded the official’s resignation.
The information says that the woman who filed a complaint against the manager had previously worked in another hospital in the same area and was transferred to the Gennimatas hospital in Thessaloniki by the decision of the accused.
The accused of sexual harassment, for his part, denies everything and allegedly called the charges “insignificant.” And that the woman is simply “taking revenge” on him.
