Recently, all Greek systemic media have been reporting that the government has begun a “hunt” for companies that profit speculatively from the population by selling them products at inflated prices.
However, the most surprising thing is that it persecutes Greek companies that sell cheap productswhile transnational corporations that they sell it for more, no one touches it!
Πρόστιμο 742.000€ στην Ελληνική εταιρεία #ΑΙΝΟΣ.

For example: peas from the Greek company Aenos sell for 2.30 €, and similar products from Barba Stathis – for 3.88 €.
Result: The Greek company was fined 740,000 euros for dishonest profit-making, and the Barba Stathis brand is owned by Vivartia of CVC Capital. We think you understand what we are talking about…
The first one is sold much cheaper than the second one and… gets a fine. In Greece it’s called “support for domestic producers and the fight against profiteering.”
