Robbers took 68 pairs of glasses out of the store and beat a passerby

The attackers entered a store in Thessaloniki, committed theft and beat a passer-by who caught them at the crime scene.

Criminal cases were initiated against two men, 23 and 44 years old, on charges of robbery and theft.

According to the police investigation, the criminals entered the optics store, from where they took out 68 pairs of glasses, a laptop and a cash register. At this time, a city dweller passed by, who witnessed the theft.

When the 23-year-old thief noticed that they were found at the scene of the crime, he used physical violence to the passer-by. As for the 44-year-old man, an accomplice of the young robber, the investigation revealed that he had previously taken part in burglaries from four houses.

As “Russian Athens” previously wrote, the attackers in Thessaloniki are constantly improving their skills and, in general, are “just virtuosos.” For example, in December last year, criminals broke into a jewelry store and took out the stolen goods in just 66 seconds! Although in the end they were caught and are now in prison.
