The number of products that we see on the shelves of supermarkets participating in the “Permanent price reduction” initiative has reached 598. These are 30 product categories. About 50 companies are participating in the “Μόνιμη Μείωση Τιμής” campaign.
This follows from data from the Ministry of Development; the ministry’s initial goal was only 500 product codes on supermarket shelves with a reduction of 5% or more for at least six months. This means that the established norm was successfully exceeded.
According to information, the leadership of the Ministry of Development expresses satisfaction with the participation of business enterprises in the initiative aimed at supporting households experiencing an inflation crisis, and especially vulnerable segments of the population.
In the context of cooperation with businesses, efforts will be made to continue to expand the list of relevant (available to every consumer) products as far as possible.
