Impressive clouds with the mystical name Mammathus spread over Larissa, causing both admiration and horror.
An unusual natural phenomenon usually indicates an approaching storm or remains after it. The bizarre clouds are made of ice and stretch for miles in all directions. They look especially picturesque in the rays of sunlight. The name mammatus comes from the Latin “mamma”, which means “chest” – because of the characteristic similarity with this part of the body.
