Brigades of communal workers of the municipality of Thessaloniki once again took to the streets of the city to collect two-wheeled vehicles abandoned on the central streets of the northern capital.
The municipality has launched a new operation to “clean up the city” of rotting vehicles parked even on the sidewalks and constituting pockets of pollution. The operation took place in the 5th municipal community (districts of Kharilau, Analipsi, Depot, Ippokratio).
The public utilities removed more than 40 two-wheeled vehicles, which were abandoned even on the central streets of the district: Delfon, Vasilisis Olgas, October 28, Botsari, Papanastasiou, Karakasi and Konstantinoupolis.
Approximately 300 two-wheelers have been removed from the center and surroundings of Thessaloniki in 21 related operations (“broom”). Similar actions will continue.
