ΑΑΔΕ “caught” a steakhouse in Thessaloniki, which for three years hid a turnover in excess of 370,000 euros.
According to the ERT channel, tax police inspectors digitally identified a major tax evasion at a steakhouse (Ψητοπωλείο) in Thessaloniki. In particular, it was found that in the period from 03/03/2017 to 12/31/2020 checks were not punched for 38,305 orders for a total of 370,450 euros. This resulted in the catering business paying at least €85,000 less in tax.
According to the report, the prescribed fines have already been imposed, and the company’s books are carefully checked for other violations. In his defense, the owner said he wanted “not to raise prices” for souvlaki and gyros and retain the existing clientele.
“Athenian News” has already revealed souvlaki price hike in their previous posts.
