In Turkey, a new Turkish combat drone Bayraktar TB-3, developed by Baykar, is being prepared for the first flight.
The upcoming event was announced on his Twitter account by the technical director of the company, Seljuk Bayraktar:
“Bayraktar TB3 is counting down the days until its first flight after its big brother Kızılelma.”
The new Bayraktar TB-3 drone can stay in the air twice as long as its predecessors – up to 50 hours versus 26. Specialists from Azerbaijan also took part in the development. New UAVs, says Seljuk Bayraktar, can help not only on the battlefield – they will be most effective in extinguishing fires or, for example, eliminating the consequences of earthquakes.
