As part of the cooperation of the General Secretariat for the Fight against Crime with the City Non-Profit Society “Συμμαχία για την Ελλάδα”, more than 7,500 books were collected to enrich prison libraries throughout the country.
The secretary general for combating crime, Mr. Konstantinos Papatanasiou, and the general director of “Συμμαχία για την Ελλάδα”, Mr. Georgios Kaloudis, worked together to replenish the libraries, the newspaper writes. protothema.gr. Books by Greek and foreign authors, literary, novels, essays, historical, as well as educational books and dictionaries were collected with the participation of Lamda Development, Nissan Nik. I. The Secretary General for Anti-Crime Policy warmly thanked “Συμμαχία για την Ελλάδα”, as well as the companies that helped carry out this project, which aims to strengthen the position of “re-education” and help the smooth reintegration of prisoners into society, through the power of knowledge.
