In the next 24 hours in Thessaloniki will begin filming the Hollywood action movie “Dirty Angels” with Eva Green in the lead role and director Martin Campbell, who shot, in particular, two films about James Bond.
As the regional governor of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tsitsikostas, recently stated, the cost of the film is 35 million euros. Of these, about 25 million will be spent in his area of responsibility, and filming will take place in studios in Thermi, Asvestochori, Perea, in the areas of western Thessaloniki, in the mountainous Halkidiki and other places.
“We are talking about at least 250 new jobs for this film, Greeks, bright young people who will now get jobs after years of unemployment. Filming will take three months in Greece. Then shooting and post-production will be completed in Morocco. Thessaloniki will also play the main role in this film,” the governor of the region said.
