From May 14, citizens of Ukraine are allowed to enter Greece

The Ukrainian Embassy in Greece has published information on the lifting of restrictions on entry to Greece for citizens of Ukraine, which was previously restricted due to measures of protection against coronavirus.

From May 14, 2021, Ukrainian citizens are allowed to enter Greece subject to certain conditions and requirements.

Requirements for entering the territory of Greece for citizens of Ukraine for tourist purposes:

Filling out a special PLF form (passenger form) 24 hours before the border crossing (https://travel.gov.gr). Provision of a certificate of completion of vaccination made no earlier than 14 days before the date of entry, or a negative test result PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 with translation into English, which is done no earlier than 72 hours (counting from the time of taking collection before arrival at the checkpoint in Greece), or a certificate of coronavirus disease and recovery, or a certificate of the presence of antibodies after coronavirus disease, issued at the place of residence, with translation into English (the validity of certificates is from 2 to 9 months from the date of issue ), or a certificate of vaccination with a drug recognized in Greece: Pfizer, Moderna, Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson. Vaccination with a vaccine not recognized in Greece does not give a reason for entry. In this case, you need to have a certificate of the results of test A or a certificate of antibodies B.

Notes:

The above requirements also apply to children from 5 years of age. Greek border guards knowthat in Ukraine, certificates of past illness and tests are sold on the black market, so the holder of such a document will most likely be sent to undergo an additional test. It is noted that until the test results are received, the tourist is prohibited from leaving the place of residence indicated in the PLF form. Upon arrival at the Greek border crossing point, random testing for SARS-CoV-2 is possible. In the case of a positive test result, infected individuals will be quarantined for 14 days in government-designated locations. It is not yet known who will pay for such accommodation, but with a probability of 99%, this will become a tourist’s problem.
We asked this question to the Consulate of Ukraine in Greece and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, but have not received an answer yet. We hope that sooner or later there will be an answer.

Entry of citizens of Ukraine is possible through:

international airports in Greece; seaports of Patras, Igoumenitsa, Kerkyra; land border checkpoints Promahonas and Ormenio (around the clock); Evzoni (from 7:00 to 23:00).
