Consequences of today’s rocket attack on the Ukrainian city of Vinnitsa: 17 people were killed, including 2 children. The lives of 50 more people are at risk. 90 people turned to hospitals for help.
Igor Klymenko, head of the National Police of Ukraine, and the Office of the Prosecutor General report about another strike at 11 a.m. on civilian infrastructure – the building of the medical center was destroyed. The police in Vinnitsa deployed a mobile point for appeals of citizens and opened hotlines to search for the missing:
“If your relatives or friends were at the place of arrival and do not get in touch, call 050-222-03-26 or 59-42-00.”
The prosecutor’s office opened a criminal investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war related to premeditated murder. According to preliminary information, 3 Russian missiles hit the building with office space. The House of Officers and nearby residential buildings were also damaged by the blows. There was a fire, the fire spread to the parking lot, burning about 50 cars.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the missile attack a terrorist attack.
