The Mykonos Police Department is investigating a new case of theft. The victims were Turkish swimming champion Kemal Gürdal and his friend Serhat Sen, a well-known makeup artist in Istanbul.
The two men lived in an apartment complex in the Koonupa area of Mykonos. Last Saturday, members of a gang of robbers broke into their rooms, who are “making a rustle” all over Mykonos. Returning to the room, the citizens of Turkey saw complete chaos. Robbers ransacked the bedrooms, taking literally everything clean.
Among the stolen items were underwear, swimming trunks, shirts, trousers and, of course, jewelry and money.
The Turkish swimming champion told police that the robbers escaped with 7,500 euros and $3,000 in cash, as well as jewelry, gadgets and clothing worth a total of 70,315 euros.
According to police, the attackers managed to get into the room of two men through the balcony door.
