Health Minister: Coronavirus outbreak ‘totally under control, no need for new measures’

Greek Health Minister Thanos Plevris said on Wednesday that the coronavirus is “completely under control” and “there is no need for new protective measures.”

“The recommendation is that when we are in places with heavy crowds, we should wear a mask and take protective measures,” he said. And noted that the national health system not under pressure, and no increase in hospital admissions is expected during the summer months. “We follow the course of each wave.
