Strong winds have created serious problems at Rhodes airport.

The incident occurred with the flight of the Finnish company Finn Air. The airliner was supposed to land at the airport of the island late last night, but this became impossible.

The pilot, having made several circles over the airport, tried to land, but there was a strong headwind in the area. He had almost begun to land, when at the very last moment he suddenly changed his mind, deciding not to risk it.
