Intense seismic activity in this area was also observed the day before, on Wednesday, February 16, when two earthquakes were recorded – with a force of 3.9 and 3.7 on the Richter scale.
Earthquake data coming from the Geodynamic Institute of Athens and the European Mediterranean Seismological Institute are decisions from an automatic computer system, without the participation of a seismologist. As new data becomes available, they are constantly updated.
