A whole “mountain” of garbage was also seen at the entrance to the detention facility: plastic containers with leftovers, cups, etc. Here, in the corridor, the trash bins were overfilled so that the garbage could no longer fit in them and lay on the floor. “All this contributes to the breeding of cockroaches, and creates an unhealthy and unsightly environment that threatens the health of both the employees of the Office and the detainees,” the inspectors said.
The Sanitary Inspection Commission commented and provided guidance on the most effective remedy for the identified violations: “Toilets, stairwells, garages and places of detention must be cleaned up. All rooms must be thoroughly cleaned and kept clean on a regular basis. and in proper form. “
