The authorities of Kastoria are engaged in solving a brutal crime.
The body of a 44-year-old woman was found in the courtyard of her house, located in the village of Mesopotamia (Kastoria). The body was found by her husband. There are many questions about the woman’s death, an investigation has begun. It is expected that the forensic medical examination will provide answers about the circumstances of the death of the mother of the family.
The woman was found lifeless on Tuesday evening (11/16) by her husband, who immediately called the police and an ambulance. EKAB paramedics, who rushed to the scene, pronounced her dead.
According to the police and the Athens news agency, the victim was hit on the head, but experts will clarify the circumstances and causes of her death. The forensic examination will be done tonight.
The territory of the house is still cordoned off by the police. As the site ditikostipos.gr points out, the woman’s body was wrapped in wire. Initially, it was known that the woman is 55 years old, but according to the latest data, she is 11 years younger.
