After the second semi-final of the international song contest Eurovision 2024, the finalists were determined; 26 countries will take part in the final of the competition on May 11.
In addition to the winners of both semi-finals, these will be the founding countries of the song competition: Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, as well as the 2023 winner Sweden.
After her impressive performance, Greek Marina Satti qualified for the Eurovision Grand Final with her song “Zari”. The Greek singer received loud applause from the audience, who danced to the rhythm of her song.
The music, which combines modern, traditional and ethnic elements, is composed by Μαρίνα Σάττι, OGE, Kay Be, Nick Kodonas, Jay Stolar, Gino The Ghost and Jordan Palmer, and the lyrics are VLOSPA, OGE, Σάττι and Solmeister.
Latvia, Austria, the Netherlands, Norway, Israel, Estonia, Switzerland, Georgia and Armenia also reached the finals.
Ukraine competed in the first semi-final. Despite the embarrassment of falling during the final rehearsal, alyona alyona and Jerry Heil perfectly presented the competition song Maria & Teresa, received a storm of applause in the hall and confidently moved on.
Together with Ukraine, Serbia, Portugal, Slovenia, Cyprus, Finland, Croatia, Ireland, Luxembourg and Lithuania were in the super final.
