A 34-year-old man who fell from the White Tower in Thessaloniki committed suicide – this is the conclusion law enforcement officers came to.
As he fell, he first hit a tree branch and then the ground, CCTV cameras show. The tragedy occurred at noon on Monday April 22, reports www.thestival.gr. According to media reports, the man entered normally through the entrance, having bought a ticket, and then went up to the roof. He just walked around for a while, waiting for people to leave the place, and then he jumped down.
Greek police are studying footage from the White Tower's video cameras, which captures the moment a man makes a tragic decision. The video in question shows the man alone at the scene. A few moments later, he turns, jumps over the fence and falls down.
