Clearhos Marousakis predicts worsening weather this afternoon


According to the forecasts of meteorologist Clearhos Marousakis, in the second half of Sunday, April 7, a short-term deterioration in the weather is expected – rain, strong winds, and a drop in temperature:

“From midday, rain will occur in Macedonia, Thrace, eastern Sterea, Spartada, Attikoboeotia and the Peloponnese. Strong northerly winds, more than 7-8 on the Beaufort scale, are expected, which will lead to a drop in temperatures. These changes will be short-lived – the weather will improve again from Monday evening. The good weather will last until April 13.”

National Weather Service, writes CNN Greece forecasts clear skies with high temperatures and a temporary increase in cloud cover with sporadic rain and occasional storms for today, Sunday April 7th. The air temperature will reach 28°C, and the wind at sea will blow with force from 4 to 7 on the Beaufort scale.

Attica:

Scattered clouds will gradually thicken from midday, with localized showers and even showers possible in the afternoon. Wind northwesterly from force 3 to force 4, changing from midday to north/northeast, force from force 4 to force 6, in some places up to force 7 on the Beaufort scale. Temperature 12-27°C.

Thessaloniki:

Clouds will increase rapidly in the afternoon with scattered showers and showers. Better weather is expected in the evening. Winds from the north/northwest at 4 to 5 Beaufort, becoming southeasterly at midday with the same intensity. Temperature 11-25°C.
