In particular in Attica carried out 8078 inspections135 arrests were made (including 9 arrests of minors), and in 2345 inspections carried out in Thessaloniki and 7 juvenile arrests.

As part of the assessment of this particular initiative, the Greek police have mapped areas and locations where there is a constant and increasing number of offenses in order to take specific measures. At the same time, a significant number of awareness-raising activities are carried out in cooperation with education authorities, local government and civil society.

1,250 lectures were held throughout Greece, in schools and other places, and were attended by a total of 101,969 people. 86 meetings were held with municipal authorities, management of sports sections, associations of parents and guardians, etc.

In a statement, ΕΛ.ΑΣ. states: “No child should feel exposed, vulnerable or alone. No parent should have to worry about their child when they are away from home.”
