Kindergarten teacher locks children as punishment

A kindergarten teacher in Alexandroupoli gave the children an execution – she locked the children in a closet so that they would “calm down.”

As reported by e-evros.gr, a shocking fact came to light a few days ago, when the father of a 3-year-old girl was playing with her daughter, and she, holding a doll in her hands, told her: “I’ll lock you in the closet and turn off the light.” The father was surprised by the words. daughter, and asked her where she heard this. And he was incredibly surprised when he heard the answer: “Kiriya (the lady, the teacher) is doing this to us.”

The next morning, the child's parents went to the kindergarten to talk to the teacher. It so happened that they informed her about what had happened and demanded an explanation.

Much to their surprise, the teacher confirmed this, saying that the children were being “removed” so that they would “calm down”! The two parents left the school in shock and contacted the mayor of Alexandroupoli, Yiannis Zamboukis, as it is a municipal kindergarten. The mayor assured that all necessary procedures would be initiated in order to remove a particular lady from her duties, which was done.

As noted by local media, when other parents were informed about what was happening in a particular department, the “Pandora’s box” opened. The children began to talk and describe what they experienced. Some talked about the chair to which they were tied, others about the bolt (the children heard the door being locked against it), and still others showed strange behavior that their parents could not explain until now.

According to exclusive information from e-evros.gr, parents met with a legal representative to sue the teacherand also met with the mayor of Alexandroupolis and the responsible deputy mayor, Ilias Dasterides, where both parties discussed what happened.

It should be noted that the teacher, in her written apology to the mayor, admits that she placed the children in a “specific area,” calling it a “decompression room,” a term she apparently used to justify her inappropriate actions.

The kindergarten department was temporarily closedbecause both teachers in this department were fired, and the children, most of whom were three years old, were distributed to other departments. As for the second teacher, most parents talk about her as an excellent teacher and clarified that she did not take part in the execution carried out by the first teacher.
