Youth Pass: Find out when the application platform opens and who is eligible to receive it

Next Monday, April 1, the authorities plan to open the Youth Pass platform, where 18- and 19-year-olds will be able to apply for financial assistance in the amount of 150 euros.

Youth Pass is a digital debit card, which beneficiaries will be able to use in enterprises operating in the fields of culture, tourism and transport. Applications are submitted through the vouchers.gov.gr platform, and payments, according to the original schedule, will be made before May 31.

Youth Pass beneficiaries are all Greek tax residents who have reached the age of 18 or 19 during the year, prior to submitting the application, and submitted the corresponding application on the platform. An 18-year-old who applied last year will receive an additional 150 euros this year without having to submit a new one. It is noted that if for any reason the young man did not apply when he was 18 years old, he will be able to do this when he turns 19 years old, naturally receiving assistance only for this year, and not retroactively.

After submitting the application, the credit or financial institution informs the beneficiary about the first activation of the card and crediting of the amount of money via text message (SMS) or electronic message (email) with an embedded link to activate your digital debit card.

Beneficiaries can use the amount they receive, to make purchases or receive services from enterprises operating in the field of tourism (for example, tourist accommodation), culture (to attend theatrical performances or concerts, to buy books, etc.), transport (for travel in taxis, buses, ferries ) or when purchasing plane tickets, renting cars, pleasure boats, etc.
