How will the salary increase for three years of service be calculated from 2024?

In the private sector for workers receiving the minimum wage, three years began to count from January 1, 2024 (from the moment the “freeze” occurred, February 14, 2012).

This year the number of beneficiaries is small, just 100,000, but in three years the number is estimated to rise to 600,000–700,000. Thus, a staff member who completes a three-year period of work in the same company, after 3 years he will receive a 10% increase to 780 euros, i.e. 78 euros per month. How exactly will 3 years of work experience be counted, examples:

• If you are before 2012 If they worked, say, 2 years, and then “their experience was frozen” due to a government decree, then starting from January 1, 2024, one year should be added to them. This means that in 2025 you will be able to receive a bonus for three years of experience (of course, provided that you continue to work at the same enterprise).
• Or you worked before 2012 for 2 years and 10 months. This means that in two months, starting from January 1, 2024, you will be entitled to an increase for 3 years of experience.
• For those who did not work before 2012, 3 years of experience will be counted from the beginning of 2024.
